Dublin Adams: I Am

I am Dublin Aine-Noelle Adams.I am special, with imagination.I wonder if Nenu will come back.I hear a weird hmmm-like noise.I see dead people.I want Sun and Moon, the daycare attendants.

I am Dublin Aine-Noelle Adams.I pretend to have RainWing characteristics.I feel life.I touch nothing but something.I worry Mom will disappear like Nenu.I cry because Nenu died from cancer.

I am Dublin Aine-Noelle Adams.I understand life isn’t fair.I say my favorite characters will come back.I dream of what Sandman chooses.I try to be fully happy.I hope Nenu will come back and give me a hug.

I am from my TV,
From my bed and food.
I am from the rich and vintage—
Beautiful, calm, and soothing in aroma.

I am from the sunflower,
Where petals reach out and make me happy.
I am from going to Vegas every two years and loving,
From Brittani and Lawrence.

I am from going to sleep late and being hungry,
From being curious and mysterious.
I am from God, who created me and the heavens and Earth.

I am from Fayetteville, Arkansas, pizza, and chili pie,
From going camping, falling off my bike, and breaking my arm.

I am generous and funny.
I am curious about rock and roll.
I hear guitars.
I see stage lights, a crowd, and instruments.
I want to be famous and travel.

I pretend to be on stage.
I feel excited and nervous.
I touch guitar strings.
I worry about nothing.
I don’t get sad.

I understand math and shapes.
I say Jesus loves everyone.
I dream about being in a band.
